Toronto (Ont.) – Just in time for the winter, online retailer Canadian Icons has announced they will be offering their GTA-based customers the option of receiving their Canada Goose outerwear delivered for free between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. the same day they ordered them.
"The number of retailers in Canada that are interested in offering their customers the Delivered Tonight service is increasing. It shows they're committed to improving their end-to-end e-commerce services, and that Canada Post is in a key position to enable them," says René Desmarais, Senior Vice-President, Parcels, at Canada Post.
The Delivered Tonight pilot was launched on September 17 with a group of leading online retailers in Canada to gauge the customer demand for same day delivery and to better understand the logistics required to fulfill it.
Canadian Icons – a website that's part museum and part online store, which sells a variety of Canadiana items including the popular Canada Goose outerwear and Manitobah mukluks – is the latest retailer to see value in offering faster delivery to its customers.
"Because we offer premium products like Canada Goose online, it's important to provide the best service possible. We currently offer free shipping and returns on every order and with Delivered Tonight, we can delight our customers even more," says Aron Slipacoff, Canadian Icons Founder and Curator.
The Delivered Tonight pilot continues to add leading retailers to its list of participants. It will run in the GTA until the end of February.
