Service Alert: Interruption in service for Greater Saint John, N.B. area Thursday, April 27, 2023

April 27, 2023

Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members working for the federal government began strike action on April 19. Picket lines are expected at hundreds of locations across the country.

While Canada Post employees are not included in the strike and will continue to deliver and/or pick up the mail, our operations may be interrupted because of external picketing activity at our facilities.

Today in the Greater Saint John, N.B., area, there is external picketing activity at our mail processing facility at 125 Rothesay Avenue that is interrupting mail operations and as a result there will be no delivery today. The Retail Post Office is also closed.

Picketing is also taking place outside our facility in Dieppe, N.B. at 680 Malenfant Blvd. We expect some delays in our mail delivery operations.

Customers who have questions regarding their postal services can contact Canada Post’s Customer Service team online at canadapost.ca/support or by telephone at 1-866-607-6301 (TTY: 1-800-267-2797).
